Mauldin is a city just southeast of Greenville with 24,724 residents at the 2020 Census. Benjamin Griffith received the first land grant here in 1784, and the name Mauldin dates to 1885, when the Greenville and Laurens Railroad station was named for Lieutenant Governor W. L. Mauldin. The BI-LO supermarket chain was founded in Mauldin and headquartered here until 2011. BridgeWay Station, a 400,000-square-foot mixed-use development, opened in 2024.
Mauldin is a few minutes from the Greenville hospitals, including Prisma Health and Bon Secours St. Francis, so the question is which system your doctors belong to. Compare plan networks against your own list. Medicare Advantage and Part D plans are approved county by county, and Abilla Advisors can compare Greenville County options against your doctors and prescriptions at no cost to you.
